Safari dream in Masai Mara

We spent three days at Governor’s Camp, one of the oldest and finest safari camps in Kenya. It is located in the middle of the wild nature, just by the winding Mara River which is full of Hippos and Crocodiles.

After spending a couple of days working in Alicante I went to Kenya to celebrate a 3-day wedding of the lovely couple Nina and Sebastian. When writing this I am in Nairobi for a one day stopover before going to Diani Beach, I can’t wait to share with you some of the extraordinary moments I have just experienced.
The wedding took place in one of the greatest and most wild places on earth, the great plains of Masai Mara. We spent three days at Governor’s Camp, one of the oldest and finest safari camps in Kenya. It is located in the middle of the wild nature, just by the winding Mara River which is full of Hippos and Crocodiles. Even though you are living in tents with nature and animals directly on your front porch they are of high standard and the accommodation is impecable. The experience at Governor’s was unique, but not only for it’s accommodation but primarily for the staff.

Such inspiring and wonderful people, always with a huge smile on their faces and a proud"Jambo" to great you, ready to help you and tell you stories of animals and nature.

I left governors camp happy and touched and with these photos I will try to share some of the experience with you.

I guess the greatness and experience of these kind of safaris are hard to explain, you just have to live them. I really had no special expectations and was taken away by the beauty and greatness of the animals, the way they coexist and how life and death in its purest form can be displayed in such magnitude. Hope you enjoyed the pictures much more coming soon!

Thanks with LOVE from Kenya!
