We went for a walk around Djugården and we saw the signs towards Rosendals Trädgård.  Rosendal’s Garden is an open garden, with its main purpose of presenting biodynamic (organic) garden cultivation to the general public.

Hello everyone, I had one of the best weekends in Stockholm ever. We decided to not have anything scheduled and just relax… Wake up whenever we wish, have a late breakfast at home and how I like saying: Go with the FLOW! With these kind of days it is when you realise how nice is to have time for yourself and your couple, living the moment and enjoy ourselves at the maximum!
Their gardens and greenhouses yield a wide selection of biodynamically grown vegetables, flowers, herbs and pot-plants, most of them sold in the Plant Shop or the Garden Shop, or used for cooking in the Café. All bread, pies, buns, cookies and cakes come from their own Bakery, boasting a wood-fired stone oven built in 1998. It was a fantastic afternoon, we had a lovely walk and ate a delicious apple cake while we chilled lying on the grass with the lovely music coming from a wedding party celebrated in one of its pretty gardens. This is one of the things that I like the most about Stockholm: being able to go to one of these unique spots in just a short walk from the city. Priceless!
