MAUERPARK FLEA MARKET IN BERLIN
Hello from Berlin! The Mauerpark flea market in Berlin is alocal ritual since it is one of the most popular flea markets in Europe and the place to be on sundays.
We arrived yesterday morning after a great weekend in Stockholm celebrating Kristoffer’s birthday and enjoying a wonderful time with spanish friends visiting us. Since we got to Berlin it has been non stop! We dropped our stuff at the Michelberger hotel in the east area of Berlin and we went directly to the Mauerpark flea market. We didn’t want to miss out on this local ritual in Berlin since it is one of the most popular flea markets in Europe and the place to be on sundays. You can find everything there from new and vintage clothing, old furniture, handmade staff, vynils, books, antiques, etc What I really loved there was the music vibe present everywhere! Bands, singers, dancers and artists encourage people to stay and love this sunday routine.
The variety of food and drinks is also a highlight in this market, don’t forget to try the waffles, samosas, pakoras and yogi tea. And you have to check out the weekly karaoke session, which attracts massive crowds between 1.30 and 5pm. A great mix of serious singing talent and insouciant community vibe ♥
Thanks with love,
