A tour around PAris
I have fallen in love with the French “savoir faire”, the manners and charm of the French people and the chic and a slightly sexy style of the Parisians.
This weekend, I was in Paris visiting my great friend Juan, who I hadn’t seen for a while. My two days consisted in strolling, sitting on terraces and chatting, visiting my favourite places in Paris, taking photos and eating well. I rented a really cute flat in the Guy Moquet district via web www.airbnb.com and I can honestly say that it was a great choice and one which I will definitely repeat again. During my stay, I just had to go to “Le Marais”, the bohemian and cosmopolitan quarter which is bursting with cafés and art galleries. It is also where the Place des Vosges is located. Jumping to the other side of the city, we went to the contemporary art museum Pompidou, one of the most extravagant places in Paris due to its air vents, pipes, lifts, and escalators, painted in bright colors on the outside of the building. Although I also enjoyed a break in exceptional gardens of the “du champs de mars” in front of the Eiffel Tower. What I most like was the charm of the pedestrian street, Rue de Cler. Located in the 7th district, La Rue de Cler is a colourful and exclusive outside market, perfect for walking around and great for buying pastisserie and cheese. What else can I say? That I have fallen in love again with the French “savoir faire”, the manners and charm of the French people and the chic and a slightly sexy style of the Parisiens. Here to share with you my very special photos and Parisian tips…
